The full network of 39 Growth Hubs boost business support across the country.  The Growth Hub network is complete meaning that England's 4.7 million businesses are now covered by the network.

About us

The Solent Growth Hub offers businesses in the Solent LEP area simplified access to a range of information, advice and support services provided nationally and locally. Helping individuals, organisations and businesses - from start-ups to established operations to find funding, support initiatives and services that can best help them achieve their growth potential.

The Solent Growth Hub is funded through the City Deal Programme, part of the Government's Regional Growth Fund.

Growth Hubs come in all shapes and sizes and are tailored to meet local needs.

What are Growth Hubs?

Growth hubs are locally-led partnerships which coordinate local and national business support within a local area, and make it easier for businesses to access the help they need. Growth hubs are intended to raise awareness and take up of business support, impact of business support,simplify the local business support landscape, eliminate duplication and improve the impact of business support, helping to increase private sector growth. Today there are 39 operational growth hubs, which means that 100% of registered businesses in England are now able to access business support from a local growth hub. Full coverage across England was completed in May 2016.

Businesses can also speak to the team at the national Business Support Helpline Telephone:0300 456 3565 Monday to Fridays, 9am-6pm. The Business Support Helpline offers advice and guidance to new and existing businesses. It has information on national and local schemes, grantsa nd loans to help businesses start and grow.
