Since 1976, The Prince's Trust has helped over 80,000 young people to realise their dream of working for themselves through our Enterprise programme - from beauticians to barbers, digital agencies to dog grooming, and magicians to maintenance firms.

Who can join the Enterprise Programme?

  • aged 18-30
  • living in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland
  • unemployed or working fewer than 16 hours a week
  • You'll also need an idea, or some ideas, that you want help to explore further

Prince's Trust Enterprise Programme

The Prince's Trust Enterprise Programme supports young people between the ages of 18-30yrs to start-up or grow their business. It provides one-to-one support, training and mentorship.

The Enterprise Programme can help you with your business plan,training and funding, and you'll meet other people in the same position as you. 

The programme gives you the support of an experienced business mentor who can give you advice every step of the way.

The Prince's Trust can offer start up business finance if you decide to start up in business through the Enterprise programme. 

The Prince's Trust can provide low interest loans of up to£4,000 for a sole trader and £5000 for a partnership - some people may be eligible for business grants too.  The Prince's Trust works with some well-known industry names to help you secure funding including the Start-Up Loans company.
