Social Startup Tool Kit and workshop programme
A free Social Startup Toolkit and a series of free programmes has been developed; taking you through step-by-step to develop your idea and launch your own Social Startup.
The Social Enterprise support is offered through a free programme which aims to inspire you and support you through a range of practical tools including a specific social enterprise toolkit, resources, mentoring, networking activities.
The programme of workshops run over 4 weeks to help you look at how your thoughts can be put into action. The workshops are fully funded (free) and open to all members of the public. I want to find out more about the free workshops.
The partners have come together to help make a change and increase peoples awareness of Social Enterprise and increase the amount of Social Startups across the city. Many people want to make an impact in the community but are often unsure how.
About Social Startup Portsmouth
The Partnership Foundation has joined with key city partners to launch this new initiative supporting social enterprise in Portsmouth. The University of Portsmouth, Portsmouth City Council, Shaping Portsmouth and others are working together to encourage the creation and growth of this important sector.
The University of Portsmouth is working with Highbury College, the Cathedral Innovation Centre and the Council for Social Responsibility to launch Social Startup Portsmouth. The programme provides tools and interactive workshops for budding social entrepreneurs of all ages to get their social or community venture off the ground.
All partner organisations are committed to providing the vital business support networks, encouragement and guidance to make sure all these enterprises succeed and play their full part in our local economy.
