Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs

The European exchange programme for Entrepreneurs.
Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs helps provide aspiring European entrepreneurs with the skills necessary to start and/or successfully run a small business in Europe. New entrepreneurs gather and exchange knowledge and business ideas with an experienced entrepreneur, with whom they stay and collaborate for a period of 1 to 6 months.
As a new entrepreneur, you will benefit from on-the-job training in a small or medium-sized enterprise in another Participating Country. You can also benefit from access to new markets, international cooperation and potential possibilities for collaboration with business partners abroad.

European Innovation Council

The EIC pilot supports top-class innovators, entrepreneurs, small companies and scientists with bright ideas and the ambition to scale up internationally. It brings together the parts of Horizon 2020 that provide funding, advice and networking opportunities for those at cutting edge of innovation.

iamDigital

We are increasingly living in a society that is digital-by-default; this is creating a strong need to develop digital skills and increase the digital capability of all for a digital economy. iAMDigital is a £1m fund which invests in new ventures and established organisations working to increase digital inclusion and digital skills in the UK, outside of London.

iAMDigital will be investing in organisations that have a strong track record of delivering results and are seeking to scale their approach. We are offering low interest loans or equity investments ranging from £50,000 to £250,000. These investments will be matched 50% by the applicant company; for example, an investment request of £50,000 must be matched by £50,000 additional private funding.

Nesta

Nesta is a global innovation foundation.  Using our knowledge, networks, funding and skills, we work hard to see new opportunities and challenges; spark creative answers from many sources; shape brilliant ideas into practical solutions; and then shift whole systems in a new direction.

Policy and Resources One-Off Grant

The Executive Member for Policy and Resources has responsibility across the whole range of County Council activities and is able through its grants budget to give financial help to organisations which, for a variety of reasons, may not qualify for assistance from other grants streams available. Preference will be given to applications for specific projects or activities rather than general running costs of organisations. These grants are not intended to replace shortfalls in service delivery budgets or replace funding for other support you may be able to obtain, or that you have obtained from us in the past.

Applications are received throughout the year and formal Decision Days are typically scheduled on a monthly basis excluding August and November. As a general rule, maximum grants up to the value of £5,000 will be awarded.

Prepare Your Business

Give your business the very best chance of success by reading the checklists below. We explain what should be in place throughout the journey, so you can plan ahead.

The British Business Bank checklists can help your business prepare for your equity investment journey.

Rural Communities Fund 2018-19

The Rural Communities Fund supports Parish Councils, groups and organisations in rural Hampshire and small market towns. The priorities of the scheme are to build community resilience and encourage self-help. Applications are welcome to support three specific themes as well as general projects or initiatives supporting the scheme priorities. Community-led flood alleviation, Countryside access, Rural retailers and community enterprises and Other (e.g. supporting vulnerable and older people; supporting innovative transport solutions to access services).
We typically fund up to a maximum of £5,000, although larger grants are available to support applications for community-led flood alleviation schemes and retailer and community enterprise schemes (typically up to £10,000).
Contact us to discuss your project ideas before making an application and we can advise if it will be eligible
