The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) is a dynamic, high-profile and independent business network, with Chambers across the UK.  Local Chambers sit at the heart of the community, working with businesses of all sizes, and representing all sectors.
BCC has been growing British business for more than 150 years, providing companies with practical support, useful connections and valuable access to new ideas and innovations. British Marine is the membership organisation for the leisure, superyacht and small commercial marine industry representing businesses involved in:
Leisure boats – seagoing and inland, Small commercial workboats up to 24m, Superyachts, Hire fleets and all the equipment and services needed for those craft.

HOTHOUSE

Hothouse supports makers at the start of their career

Hothouse is the Crafts Council’s national programme of creative and business support for makers at the start of their career.

It is a part-time programme run over the course of six months that gives makers the tools they need to build a successful and sustainable craft business. Monthly full-day training sessions and a residential course will give you the skills to:

• Create a business plan
• Set business goals
• Know how to do your accounts and price your work.
• Write and talk about your work confidently.
• Market your practice well.

Design Council

Design Council’s purpose is to make life better by design. We are an independent charity and the government’s adviser on design. Our vision is a world where the role and value of design is recognised as a fundamental creator of value, enabling happier, healthier and safer lives for all. Through the power of design, we make better places, better products, better processes and better performance.

Digital Boost

Digital Boost is a partnership between BCG Digital Ventures and Founders4Schools, offering a platform for organisations in need to connect with volunteer digital experts.

BCG Digital Ventures is a global company specialised in building new businesses or digital products for corporate clients. We are part of the management consultancy The Boston Consulting Group, and have a talented team of entrepreneurs, designers, digital marketers and software developers.

Founders4Schools is an award-winning educational technology charity, whose mission is to inspire students and prepare them for the rapidly changing world of work. They do this by connecting educators with leaders of successful growing businesses in their community.

Digital Culture Network

The Digital Culture Network provides practical, on the ground help to the arts and culture sector. Our focus is around digital skills and leadership development. We can help you:

  • Explore and harness the benefits of technology to achieve your goals
  • Find new ways to reach and engage audiences
  • Develop sustainable business models.

We support you in different ways:

  • One-to-one support from a team of Tech Champions specialising in digital content, eCommerce, data analytics, social media, digital strategy, email marketing, ticketing and CRM, websites and search engine marketing.
  • Practical workshops and webinars to improve skills and engage with peers.
  • Signposting to resources and training from us and our partners
  • Support with technology related funding opportunities
  • National and regional training days delivered with technology partners.

Enterprise First

Enterprise First offer a range of free support including independent advice and mentoring support.  One-to-one business support and workshops are available for start ups and established businesses.We’re a not-for-profit company, with public and private-sector funding that allows us to offer independent, confidential  advice and support completely free, or at a nominal cost.

We help people whatever stage they are at in business, doesn’t matter if you are pre start, a young business or a well established one.  We have a variety of services to support you on your journey.Need help with writing a business plan, securing funding, scaling up or just want a bit of advice?

Finding solutions is at the heart of what we do.  Our experienced adviser team work with you on a one on one basis to offer a bespoke package of support. Our services include:

We are a not-for-profit organisation, led by a team of our members, which exists to serve the small business community across the UK.
